Rail Alignment
A properly aligned crane is necessary to meet rigorous performance demands within the material handling industry.
Poor alignment causes motor strain on drives and other expensive crane equipment. Skewing, uneven rails and premature wheel wear shorten the lifespan of your crane and equipment systems. Advanced Crane Erectors provides in-depth crane runway alignment services that are in accordance with all necessary safety requirements.
Our certified technicians will evaluate the crane and runway conditions, and determine the best method for correcting any issues. We use the best industry equipment for ensuring proper crane alignment and safety standards.
Load Testing
Advanced Crane Erectors has many years of experience performing certified static and operational load testing for many different applications.Static Load Testing is comprised of a stationary overload load test, which is conducted to verify the structural and mechanical integrity of your lifting equipment.Advanced Crane Erectors provides the weight necessary to complete your successful lifting equipment testing.
OSHA requires 125% dynamic load on all new systems as well as systems that have had modifications to the load handling portion of the system (with the exception of the load chain or wire rope). A 100% load test must be performed at a minimum of every 4 years.
Prior to official load testing, Advanced Crane Erectors will pre-inspect the unit to ensure the equipment is within safety standards to ensure a successful load test.
Upon successfully completing a load test, a load test certificate will be issued. As well as a load test label affixed to the unit, we will also denote the date the system passed testing. Safety is always a priority and any equipment which fails testing will be withdrawn from service until any deficiencies noted are corrected. This is necessary in order to prevent failure of the equipment and the possibility of an accident post load testing.
Modifications
Advanced Crane Erectors offers several crane modification services. These services include modernization, increased capacity, structural damage, and defective component replacement. After inspection, our highly qualified team will take down the crane to be transported to our warehouse. We will strip down and rework the components needing modifications. We will rewire, repaint, and reinstall the crane in your installation. Once cleaned and repainted, we complete the medication and rewire your existing crane. This process results in a functionally new crane with our expertly made modifications.
Prior to modification, Advanced Crane Erectors will complete a quality control check as well as any necessary safety checks. This is to ensure the bridge, trolley, and hoist functions are working efficiently and correctly. Often customers will also complete a load check to ensure they are fully prepared for the future!
